Alive and kicking

It's time for this blog to become active, because I've got too many opinions on too many things (and a few ideas) that I'm sure my family and friends are tired of hearing me rant about. So with this site I can now shout into the electronic wind and see if anyone hears me.

I've wanted to give voice to my thoughts for a while now. I used to do a lot of writing far away in time, back in high school and college, but have recently been doing very little writing with English and a lot of writing with computer languages. Time to get back on that old bike and see how it goes. I'm sure the writing will be rough for a while.
