The connection quality rouses no cavils Puppethead

I'm no longer generating blog entries by hand, so updating will actually start happening on a regular basis. I've also redesigned my website somewhat, moving the blog off the main page. This enables me to highlight work efforts from the home page while feeling free to rant away here.
The software I'm using to generate this blog is experimental (read: not finished) but one of the major capabilities is that it bakes pages. Baking into static pages frees me from the tedium of managing cranky back end stuff like php and mysql.
A big issue I'm trying to resolve is how to represent date and time. Most sites seem to use server local time without any indication of what that is. I'm a big fan of UTC since it's unambiguous, although people I've talked to like local time with timezone. So that's what I'm going with for now.
