The New York Times Magazine article on hipublicans is, in my opinion, an example of media trying to create a trend that doesn't actually exist to any large scale. I wonder how hard it is to get some white, middle-class suburbanites to dress badly and strike a militant pose? And then add the suppression of free speech and individuality to create a movement…
