Just don't hire anyone named Halotus

Is George W. Bush's White House considering hiring a food taster? Apparently the royal meals are being jepordized by security measures that put a crimp in the lavishness of the menu.

According to Executive Chef Walter Scheib:

Our watchwords have always been what's the most seasonal, what's the most interesting. Unfortunately, some of our ability to get different products is limited by security concerns.

The White House kitchen has had to turn away free samples and only accept deliveries from the most trusted providers. It must be rough being the ruler of the most powerful country in the world and have to suffer through meatloaf Wednesdays.
