In an example of extreme tastelessness, Moss is selling Buildings of Disaster replicas. Although not all of them are buildings. Being offered are:
Texas Book Depository
Watergate Hotel
Three Mile Island reactor
The Dakota
Chernobyl reactor
Branch Davidian compound
O.J. Simpson car chase
Oklahoma City Federal building
Alma Tunnel in Paris
Unabomber's cabin
Pentagon
World Trade Center
Texas A&M Bonfire
Okay, so Moss sells trendy art stuff, and art is supposed to challenge our sensibilities. But these are pretty awful as a concept. Especially considering not all of them are buildings, and how can what happened at the Watergate Hotel be considered a disaster?
The O.J. Simpson car chase is utterly pointless. A replica of the courtroom would have better captured the disaster of our media-corrupted system of justice. And having the Alma Tunnel with a replica Mercedes smashed into a pillar is a bit too personal, I think.
