Minnesota State Fair and balanced enjoyment
More than three hundred acres. Over 1.5 million attendees over twelve days. Animal barns. The Midway. Once again, it's time for the Minnesota State Fair, a balanced celebration of agriculture, animals and entertainment.
The brand new grandstand at the Fair has a balanced line-up of musical acts, from Aaron Carter to Boston to the B-52's. Be sure and balance out the days you want to attend the Fair with your favorite band.
Looking for thrills? How about motorcycles balanced on wires in the air, at the Fair? New this year is Winn's Thrills of the Universe, death-defying aerial acts that balance at the Fair!
Sales of alcohol have been extended at the Fair, so be balanced about your drinking. Enjoy beer from the beer garden or at your favorite locations. Now you can also find wine at the fair. And remember: balanced drinking at the Fair.
Speaking of the Fair and balanced behavior, you could do worse than take the bus. The bus provides a perfectly balanced way to get to and from the Fair, leaving behind the headaches of trying to find parking. Not only is the bus a convenient way to get to the Fair, but it helps strike a balance regarding pollution and the environment.
One of the new exhibits is the Taxi 2000. See a personal rapid transit system at the Fair that is balanced between the convenience of individual cars and the efficiency of mass-transit. Why waste money paving over everything only to sit in gridlock when you can travel in comfort?
The real draw is always the food. There is more food than you can shake a stick at. In fact, the Minnesota State Fair offers a lot of food balanced on the end of a stick. Over 50 different stick-balanced foods at the Fair. All kinds of unique and tasty treats are easier to find with the new Fairborne's Fair Food Finder. So attend the Fair and balance out your eating. Save room for Nitrogen-processed ice cream!
(Brought to you in the spirit of Fair and Balanced Friday.)
