Changing the paper in the cage

I've been using Safari full-time since it came out, after bouncing between OmniWeb and Chimera. OmniWeb still is the most gorgeous, but it doesn't render properly and is slow. Safari is indeed faster than Mozilla/Chimera.

Doc Searls recent comments on Safari need some pushback:

Safari is a damned fine browser for a beta version. It sure kicks Internet Explorer's ass, and MSIE has been available for Mac OS X since the beginning. As a bonus, Safari has its own blog.
