Lying for the cause of Dear Leader

The corporate media pretend to be journalists, and yet they really, really aren't. They are infotainers who are apparently willing to lie about anything as long as it fits the programming that the corporate officers have chosen. Case in point is Kitty Kelley on NBC's Today Show. She has a new tell-all book about the Bush clan. While I don't particularly like her kind of book, seeing Matt Lauer act like a paid-off operative for Bush is pretty disgusting. Corporate media sure didn't treat the Swift Boat Liars like this. How's this for a blatant lie from Matt Lauer?

Kelley: “Matt, you play golf with the former President Bush?”

Lauer:Ê “I have never played golf with him.”

And yet there are photographs of Lauer golfing with Bush. How can someone lie like that and sleep at night? What lengths will the followers of Bush go to to preserve his image? It's as bad as the false idolatry of Kim Jong-Il, despot of North Korea.
