Finally putting the past behind me
All of the archives have been converted to be compatible with my blogging software, which means every entry is now automatically kept current in terms of links, style, etc. In the process I managed to restore some missing entries and to re-categorize the old postings into appropriate categories.
I do have some rendering issues when converting my entries from their authored form into HTML even though there are a couple of entries with problems. The converted entries have the appropriate markup in them; I just need to add the necessary support for converting to HTML and Atom. Once I do that they'll get updated automatically. Some day I'll be ready to explain the technology that drives this site. It's not a super big secret, it's just not polished enough to talk about. Think of it as similar to some experiment in a laboratory that has not yet produced verifiable results. Until you've got all your research data you should not be getting anybody excited or unhappy with what you are doing lest you end up like Pons and Fleischmann, the cold fusion guys. Or some crank with a half-finished software project.
